Hon Wahab Waliu Adetunji (Wabkem), the Executive Chairman of Atiba Local Government has inaugurated two strategic committees.
The strategic committees were constituted, at the Chairman’s office on Thursday, December 12, 2024. They are:
Internal Generated Revenue (IGR) Committee.
Atiba LG Scheme management committee
The Chairman of the Internal Generated Revenue is the Secretary to the Chairman, Hon Oyeyemi Oyelami.
The members of the committee are:
1. Hon Oyeyemi Oyelami (Secretary to the chairman) – chairman
2. Alh Hon Saheed Babalola (Chief of staff ) – Member
3. Mr Bolarinwa (DDAGS) – Member
4. Mr Adewole Kayode (internal auditor) – Member
5. Mrs Adelakun Serah (Rate Officer) – Member
6. Abolade Ramot (Deputy Treasurer ) – Member
7. Mr Biokun (Director of Environment) – Member
The committee is saddled with the responsibility of brainstorming on ideas for the development and to generate new ideas, innovation and strategies to address the challenges hindering the mode of generating revenue .
The Chairman of the Atiba LG Scheme management committee is Alh surveyor Oyedele Muhideen Tijani, Supervisory Councillor for Work.
The members of the committee are:

2. Alh Hon Saheed Babalola (Chief of staff ) – Member
3. Hon Oyeyemi Oyelami (Secretary to the chairman ) – Member
4. Hon Ashamu Yusuf (Chairman House Committee on Works) – Member
5. Alhaja Olayiwola Fatimot (Director of Finance ) – Member
6. Mr Adewole Kayode (internal auditor ) – Member
7. Adelakun Serah (Rate Officer ) – Member
The committee is saddled with the responsibility of brainstorming ideas on maintaining and sustaining all the Atiba Local Government Scheme.
Hon Wabkem, while addressing the newly inaugurated committees, charged them to think of new innovation to boost council’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR).
He assured that administration will work round the clock to put Atiba to its place of pride and to regain its cultural heritage, rebuild their digital integrity and liberty and ensure sustainable development that will make life meaningful.
