A farmer from Ibarapa has been reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen while returning from his cattle farm around 7PM this Saturday. A family source who confirmed the sad incident to GOALPOACHER NEWS said,
“Kidnapping in Ibarapa is becoming unbearable, all security agents in Ibarapa only know how to extort money from people, my uncle have been kidnapped few hours ago and he’s yet to be found, this is the second kidnapping in my family in the last few month”
“He was kidnapped on his way from his cattle farm, they were two that were kidnapped along Tapa road in Ibarapa North, they were on bike when the unknown gunmen attacked them”
“My brother was whisked away by the gunmen, while the second person escaped but was shot at but the bullet couldn’t penetrate”
The family source gave the name of the kidnapped victim as Odugbemi saheed popularly known has asikolaye while the name of the one that escaped is Wasiu OPC
As at the time of filing this report, the family source claimed the matter has been reported to Ayete police station, Ibarapa North.
