The Chairman of the Oyo State Hospital Management Board (OYSHMB), Dr. Akin Fagbemi, has encouraged hospital administrators to strive for greatness and make a lasting impact in their roles.
He gave the charge, during the visit if the visit of the institute of Health Services and Administrators of Nigeria, Oyo State Hospital Management Board(OYSHMB) chapter, led by the President Mr. Stephen Olatunde that paid a courtesy visit him on his appointment as chairman of the board by Governor Oluseyi Makinde.
During the visit, Dr. Fagbemi emphasised the critical importance of hospital administrators in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of healthcare facilities in the state.
“For a facility to work efficiently and perfectly, there is no way anyone can do away with hospital administrators. They are the engine room that sees to the day-to-day activities of all the arms within the facilities.”
The chairman expressed his passion and concern for the administrators under his leadership, urging them to always strive to leave a lasting mark and positively impact the lives of upcoming administrators, adding that he is passionate and concerned about the adminiistrators in the board.
In her remark, the Secretary of the Association, Mrs. Akanni Omollola, thanked Dr. Fagbemi for his words of encouragement and assured him of the administrators’ commitment to working hard to achieve the goals of sustainable healthcare delivery under the “Omi Tuntun 2.0” initiative in the state.
