The stage is set for the second anniversary of Ibadan Grammar School TAPPINA Readers’ Club coming up on Thursday, 14th May, 2026 at the open field beside Emmanuel Alayande Hall of the School.
The title of this year’s anniversary is, “On the green Grass.”
The event is expected to be graced by Dr. Prince Oyebade Oyedepo, FCA, JP, a renowned finance expert, tax practitioner, consultant, writer, author and a public affairs analyst. The guest author is a former Vice Chairman of the Association of Nigerian Authors, Oyo State Chapter. He is the President of MFP Group Nigeria and MFP Global Services.
According to the information released by Professor Simiat Olanike Elias, Project Initiator and Barrister Adedayo Onakoya, President- General of Ibadan Grammar School, Old Students’ Association, the event will bring together the teachers and students in robust engagement to deepen literary knowledge.
According to the duo, the students will have the opportunity of direct contact with the Guest Author to motivate them in developing potentials in writing and authoring of books.
The programme will also include presentation of awards to deserving individuals in recognition of their contributions to the body of knowledge and works of intellectual property.
