Local Government Campaign Coordinators for the reelection of Governor Seyi Makinde in 2023 general elections have commended the Oyo State Governor for embarking on the upgrade of Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport Alakia, Ibadan to an international standard.
In a statement released to the press, by his Special Assistant on Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency, Hon Ayotunde Fatokun on behalf of the campaign coordinators expressed the group’s admiration for Makinde’s exemplary leadership, citing his transformative initiatives in various sectors in Oyo State.
“Governor Seyi Makinde’s transformative initiatives in infrastructure development, education, healthcare and other critical sectors have significantly raised the profile of Oyo State and positioned it for sustainable growth and prosperity,” Fatokun said.
He further added, ” Governor Makinde’s vision to upgrade the Ibadan Airport to international standard is very worthy and a testament to his dedication to the progress and economic development of Oyo State.”
The group concluded by conveying its best wishes to Governor Seyi Makinde, praying for continued success and blessings in his efforts to move the Pacesetter State forward.
