Hon Odidiomo Tasks FG Others On Improved Healthcare System To Reduce Medical Tourism 

 

 

The federal lawmaker representing Ibadan Northwest Southwest Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon Adedeji Stanley Olajide has called on government at all levels to prioritize an improved healthcare system in Nigeria.

The lawmaker who is popularly known as Odidiomo stated this at the commissioning of 80-bed hospital facilitated by his colleague, Hon Babajimi Adegoke Benson who represents Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Lagos State.

While fielding questions from newsmen at the event, Hon Odidiomo who doubles as the House Committee Chairman on ICT and Cybersecurity, while commending Hon Babajimi’s significant and milestone achievement with the commissioning of the ultramodern hospital which he said would improve the quality of healthcare services and reduce the strains on other existing facilities in the Federal Constituency and environs, called on Federal, State and Local Governments to ensure Nigerians get the best healthcare services which will help im reducing medical tourism.

The astute parliamentarian emphasized the imperative for legislators to prioritize the welfare of their constituents and actively address their needs.

 

Hon. Odidiomo highlighted the importance of leaders being responsive to the needs of the people they serve.

He underscored that the hospital’s commissioning exemplified the legislative arm’s dedication to providing adequate representation and addressing critical issues affecting the populace.

The commissioning ceremony drew the attendance of the House of Representatives Speaker, Rt Hon Tajudeen Abass, other Federal lawmakers, prominent community leaders, political Juggernauts,  healthcare professionals, and residents.

Recall that Hon Adedeji Stanley Olajide Odidiomo had in his first term constructed healthcare facilities and equipped them with ultramodern equipment in his Federal Constituency.
