The”operation zero pothole” initiative by the oyo state government led by His Excellency Eng. Oluseyi Makinde have commenced in Akinyele local government.
Recalled that few months ago the governor declared that potholes in our various roads in Oyo state will be fixed and the people of Akinyele local government have started seeing the changes on their roads.
While inspecting the project, the caretaker chairman Akinyele local government Hon. Taoreed Adedigba Jimoh visited some areas where the work is ongoing which includes Fatokun road and Akingbile – idi-ose road, the chairman eulogized the governor for the initiative as it will ease the movement of the populace which will also boost the economy of the state and the local government at large. He further said that it will soon be extended to other parts of the local government.
