Hon. Ajani noted that this significant development is pivotal for Ibadan, as it gradually evolves into an urban city. “The airport upgrade is a crucial stride that will undoubtedly open the city to enhanced economic development and attract new business opportunities,” he stated. He eagerly anticipates the project’s completion, which the governor has assured will occur within the next 12 months.

Relating this to the broader context of BRICS, Hon. Ajani emphasized that the collaboration among BRICS nations—Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa—focuses on sustainable development, economic growth, and urbanization. These principles resonate with the ongoing transformation in Oyo State, positioning it to leverage opportunities in trade and investment that BRICS promotes.

Furthermore, Hon. Ajani commended Governor Makinde’s unwavering commitment to improving the living standards of the people of Oyo State. He emphasized that this initiative exemplifies the governor’s dedication to enhancing the quality of life for residents and advancing the overall progress of the state. “This development is a clear testament to Governor Makinde’s resolve to foster growth and prosperity for our people and our community as a whole,” he concluded.

In this interconnected global landscape, the gains from BRICS initiatives can serve as a catalyst for Oyo State’s continued development and prosperity.
