I am Not Into Politics for Money But Service- Arabambi Afijio

True leaders are selfless as selflessness is the key to inner peace.

Honourable Ayoola Kolawole O popularly known as Arabambi Afijio believe in selfless service to the community and life impartation programme that can transform the life of his people.

As a staunch PDP stakeholder and a die hard supporter of His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde having being able to convene SMTT, Seyi Makinde Think Tanks with which we have been able to reach the like minds to unveil ways of meeting the needs of our people.

I have a firm believe that wherever people are facing suffering and deprivation of any kind, l should seek to provide aid and assistance. As human being, it is essential that service to mankind are not empty words, but rather a core part of our actions.

I have vision which has helped in establishing peace that requires us to bandage the wounds of those in pain, to remove the anxieties of those who are distressed and to show love and compassion without any desire for recognition or reward.

Occasionally, l ask this question; is it not essential to recognize our obligation and paramount duty to assist all people who are facing difficulties? Of course it is and this has made me to do politics of service delivery. I am not in politics because of money but to add value to human life.

When you live your life in alignment with a purpose that is centered on selflessly adding value for others, opportunities become abundant and your life becomes fulfilled. His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde is a selfless leader who has done a lot before he became the governor and he is still doing his best for the good people of Oyo State.

I always encourage people to know that the key to a great life lies in shifting your focus from accumulation to contribution this is very essential because
happiness is the by-product of a life spent adding value to other people’s lives.

At the beginning of every year, I take time out to reflect and evaluate the events of the previous year – what went well and what needed improvement. From that inventory, I lay out my proposed input for the year – how I intend to live, make the best use of time and maximize adding value to others. Success asks, ‘How can I add value to myself ?

Significantly l ask, How can I add value to others?’ It is my intention that lends itself to significance. It is all about service delivery.
