JUST IN: Makinde Nominates Dare Adeleke as Secretary for Ondo PDP Gubernatorial Primary

 

Ahead of the PDP Ondo elections slated for April 25th, 2024, the South West PDP leader, Governor Seyi Makinde, has nominated a committee with Dare Adeleke as Secretary.

The committee is to oversee the success of the election.

With reports that the APC primary elections were not free and fair, the Makinde Committee has the onerous task of ensuring a smooth process and delivering the candidate of the people who will give a now-divided APC a run for their money.

The Chairman of the Committee is, H.E Senator Lawrence Ewhurudjakpo, Senator and former Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State.

Hon. Oluwole Busayo Oke, member.

Rt. Hon. muktar Ahmed, member.

Haj. Hassana Dikko, member.

Barrister John Mathew, Member.

Hon. Mnena Ikondon, member.

The committee secretary, Dare Adeleke promised that the committee will ensure fairness in all its doings.

Adeleke has served the PDP on different levels, including state and national, in different roles.

Adeleke thanked Engr. Makinde for the appointment, saying:

“The gesture is His Excellency’s belief and trust in our ability to take the party to victory anywhere.

“I am very grateful for the honor, and I promise we will not disappoint him.

“We will not supervise a shambolic election, like some others have done in Ondo State. Victory is assured,” he said.
