Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, on Tuesday presented N billion as the budget proposal for the 2024 fiscal year.
The budget, tagged: “A Budget of Economic Recovery,” has a total of four hundred and thirty four billion, 2024 Budget proposal of #434,221,765,938,79 ( Four hundred and thirty-four billion, two hundred and twenty-one million, seven hundred and sixty-five thousand, nine hundred and thirty-eight naira, seventy-nine kobo.
According to the Governor Makinde, this presents an opportunity to show how the present administration is projecting its policy implementation through Sustainable Development.
It will cover specific projects which if properly implemented will help cushion effects of economic challenge occasioned by the removal of fuel subsidy.
