The greatest aspiration of a man in life is to live a life pleasing unto God and humility to other. It was a thing of joy for the good people of Ibadan North East Local Government and Ibadan North West Local Government when they witnessed the good work of the friends of Deji Ola in cleaning of the major area of the two local governments and terminated the cleaning exercise at the government house, Agodi lbadan.
The Honourable Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Barrister Adeleke expressed his appreciation to Comrade Deji Ola and his friends for their contributions to the growth of Oyo State.
Barrister Adeleke also gave the logistic support, such as Compactor, Scoop, Broom and Waste Bag to the team for proper cleaning of the major road, he also joined the friends of Deji Ola to clean some areas of Ibadan metropolis.
In his message to the friends of Deji, Ogbeni Yaya, an accomplished teacher encouraged the team to continue in giving their best to the society.
Comrade Deji Ola emphasised the importance of sanitation as cleanliness is next to godliness. He put the notion on the community service of the group having given as little as the group could give to the society; cloth the needy project; pallaitives to the needy; continuous participation of sanitation exercise; one pen one book project and many other laudable contributions.
Friends of Deji Ola believes that one of the greatest purposes a man/woman can ever be indulged in is the positive evolution of self for the selfless service to humanity.
It is imperative that when thousands of selfless volunteers respond to service to humanity then we can have more of cleaner environment.
