LG Poll: Hon Sola Adeleke Receives Massive Support As APC Members Join PDP in Idere
The chances of Hon Sola Adeleke, the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in Ibarapa Central Local Government, received major boost as hundreds of members of All Progressives Congress, APC dumped the opposition party for the ruling party in the state.
The atmosphere in Idere ward 3 was electrified as mammoth crowd trooped out with excitement to welcome Hon Sola Adeleke and his campaign team.
The Director General of the campaign team, Yemi Atilola in his address, commended the people of Kòso/Apá Idere for the utmost support extended to the PDP since the selection of Hon Rasheed Babarinde as Vice Chairman for April 27 election.
According to him, Hon Babarinde’s impeccable character and love for his community are qualities worthy of emulation.
He appealed them to go out massively and vote for all the PDP Candidates in the coming local government election. He further welcomed all APC members who defected to the party.
The People’s Democratic Democratic party Chairman in Ibarapa Central Local Government, Mr gbade Akinlolu appreciated the good gesture of the people of kòso/Apá for love and support accorded to the campaign team, he stressed further on the hardship the country is currently experiencing under APC government, compared to what Eng. Seyi Makinde is doing in Oyo State, he appealed to them to vote People’s Democratic Party and ensure they deliver massive votes for the party.
Elder Amudat Lateef in his response appreciated the Party for picking the right candidate at right the time and pledged on behalf of members of ward 3 for a massive turnout to vote all candidates of People’s Democratic Party and ensure ward 3 deliver successfully.
In same vein Elder Busari Tajudeen who led APC members to PDP also urged the people to vote for the PDP and ensure they monitor their votes during the election.
Hon Sola fakorede in his address welcomed all Party faithfuls to Idere community as he congratulated all APC members who defected to People’s Democratic Party.
He assured them that the right candidate has arrived at the time everyone needs a working Chairman. He assured them that Sola and Babarinde is perfect combination that works for the party with humanitarian gesture, Reliable and trustworthy.
Another APC leader, Elder Orisabukola bashiru in his Goodwill message assured the party that ward 3 might be small but assured the readiness to deliver yet again with what the party has done in selecting the right candidate for the party.
In the same vein, the party’s flag bearer, Hon. Sola Adeleke, outlined his vision and mission to elevate Ibarapa Central to new heights.
He further highlighted his agenda if given the opportunity of becoming the local government chairman:
1) Assurance of Quality education system.
2) Empowering security agency.
3) Provision of drugs across our public health centre.
4) Cash support, subsidized inputs for farming.
5) Infrastructure facilities
The Councilorship candidate, Hon Lawrence ( Anfààní àdúgbò) in his Goodwill message appreciated all party faithfuls for the massive support, and leadership repose in him. He assured them of good governance when elected as ward 3 councilor.
