It was a day of great joy and happiness for the family of Deaconess Elizabeth Adenuga as they roll out drums to celebrate the 70th birthday of their matriarch today in the City of Ibadan

The program was a twin-event as a service preceded a reception where attendees were treated to sumptuous meals, melodious songs and pleasantries.

The birthday party was witnessed by eminent dignitaries from all walks of life including clerics, colleagues, associates, friends, and family members.

The celebrant, Deaconess Elizabeth Adenuga appreciated God in her life. Her speech was laden with praises and adoration to God for His tender mercies over her from birth till date.

According to her, God has been marvellous unto her even beyond her imagination. She appreciated her parents, her late husband Engineer Pastor Tony Adenuga, her children, grandchildren, friends, colleagues and associates for their support and encouragement. She promised to remain steadfast and committed to the service of God always.

The program also witnessed great tributes by family members, eminent and distinguished personalities in the society.

The President of a Multidisciplinary Finance Professionals Group otherwise known as MFP, Dr Prince Oyebade Oyedepo, FCA, JP also graced the occasion as a friend of the celebrant.

In his tribute at the event, the MFP top-brass described the celebrant as a woman of faith, honour and virtue. She exemplified the tenets in her marriage throughout her union with her late husband.

The MFP top-notch further described the celebrant as God fairing, mother per excellence, encourager and motivator.

The Anti-Corruption Czar equally eulogized the celebrant for her ability to sustain relationship with wisdom, endurance, love and empathy. He went further to describe her as hardworking who possess the ability to multitask. He also described her as humility personified who honours people much younger to her.

The MFP President congratulated the celebrant for raising Godly and quality children doing well in the society.

The event witnessed cutting of cake, prayers for the celebrant and family.
