Prominent traditional leader, Mogaji Abass Oloko has extolled Chief (Engr.) Jubril Dotun Sanusi, the newly appointed President of Atlético Berja FC and Okanlomo Oodua, for his visionary leadership and commitment to fostering international partnerships.

Speaking on the sidelines of Sanusi’s official reception by the Mayor of Berja, José Carlos Lupión Mena, Oloko described the appointment and the ensuing strategic collaboration as a “moment of immense pride for Nigerians at home and in the diaspora.”

“Jubril Dotun Sanusi has consistently demonstrated excellence in every endeavour he undertakes.

His reception in Berja, where he and his board were welcomed with such warmth, reflects not only his personal dedication but also the growing influence of Nigerian leadership on the global stage,” Oloko said.

The event in Berja, Spain, highlighted plans for multi-sector collaboration between Sanusi’s Ilaji Group and the city, covering Sports, Entertainment, Hospitality, and Agriculture.

Mayor Lupión Mena emphasised the potential benefits for Berja as well as for Nigeria and Malta, while agreements formalising the partnership are set to be signed imminently.

Oloko noted that Sanusi’s work has transcended beyond business achievements, describing it as “a bridge-building exercise that strengthens cultural, economic, and social ties between nations.”

He added, “Leadership is not just about titles; it is about vision and impact. Sanusi exemplifies both.”

The traditional leader urged young Nigerians to take inspiration from Sanusi’s global initiatives, stressing that:

“This is a perfect example of how dedication, strategic thinking, and cultural pride can open doors for our people across the world.”
