    New CP Resumes in Oyo,Charges Officers to Respect Human Rights

    The new Commissioner of Police recently posted to Oyo State, Joe Nwachukwu
    Enwonwu officialy resumed yesterday,charging officers of the command to always respect humans rights.

    Speaking with journalists at the command headquarters, Eleyele, Ibadan, CP Enwonwu said men and officers of the command must ensure that the fundamental human rights of citizens and resident of the state were respected.

    “Our officers should be law-abiding and respect the human rights of the people. Go back to your various divisions and commands and ensure high level of security in your areas.Let’s join hands together and put a stop crimes and criminality in Oyo State”, he said.

    He however appreciated the leadership of the police for giving him an opportunity to serve.

    He therefore called on the public to always support the Police by giving the Police necessary information to them.

    Speaking, the outgoing Commissioner of Police, Shina Olukolu, thanked the management team for their cooperation during his stay as the Police Boss in the State, saying that everything that has beginning must has an end.

    The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Operations, Abayomi Alonge in his remark thanked the out going CP saying that the command has benefited immersly from his outstanding achievements.

    He however assured the new CP of their maximum support, saying that men and officer of the command are ready for the security of lives and property of the people in the state.
