The Executive Chairman of Ogo Oluwa Local Government, Hon. Seun Ojo Adesoye, on Wednesday, promised to empower party faithfuls across the wards in the council with equity as a way of enjoying the dividends of the current administration led by Governor Makinde.
He made the assurance during the general meeting involving party members and exco held at the premises of the Council, saying that his administration will provide what is due to them and never disappoint them in anyway.
The council Boss, however, commended the attendance and massive turn out of participants which, according to him, further affirmed the love people have for the party.
While addressing participants, Hon. Adesoye appreciated them for their nomination, efforts, support and the huge votes cast during the last Local Government elections that produced him and other elected officials.
He said: “I want to appreciate all of us here today for your kind support and show of love you exhibited during the local government election exercise, which produced me and other elected officials. You have all shown that you are committed to this party. Despite the early downpour, you still turned out massively for today’s meeting.
“So, I am sincerely grateful and will ensure that we get what is due us in terms of empowerment. Like I always say, there is obviously no government without the party. You are mostly appreciated.”
He equally used the opportunity to reiterate the need for party members to stay united and work together as a team, saying “this will put us in a good position to easily win future elections.”
Concluding, he intimated party faithfuls with happenings and programmes of the current government, charging them to be hopeful as they won’t serve in vain.
