    Oluokun Holds Peace Meeting With Cattle Herders, Security Agents in Oyo East

    …Dispels Rumours of Selling Bio-data Form for N15,000

    Hon Oluokun Peter Olusola, the Executive Chairman, Òyó East Local Government has today Thursday 23rd October, 2025 held a Peace and security meeting with the Representatives of Fulani community and the security agencies.

    The meeting was centered on unverified information in regards to the selling of Bio-data form designed to capture information about herdsmen for ₦15,000.


    The chairman, however in his address, dispel the rumour that the local government did not sell any forms to anybody.

    He equally urged Herdsmen to embrace peaceful coexistence among them and the farmers.

    The D.P.O, Òyó East Local Government, solicited for the cooperation from the herdsmen to weed out criminal elements among them

    At the meeting, it was unanimously agreed that the periodical meeting of Fulanis’ and local committee be activated to review relatively peace between stakeholders
