Omi-Apata LCDA Chairman Appreciates Makinde for Tenure Extension
The Caretaker Chairman of Omi-Apata Local Council Development Area Hon Sheriff Adeojo has appreciated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde for extending the tenure of office of all Chairmen of LGs and LCDAs in Oyo State.
Hon Sheriff Adeojo commends Governor Oluseyi Makinde for giving him the opportunity to serve the people of Omi-Apata Local Council Development Area.
The council boss then assured the people of bringing more dividends of democracy to the doorstep of Omi-Apata LCDA.
While highlighting some of his achievements since his inauguration which include grading of roads at wards 7 and 10 Wire& Cable– Ita Faaji, Opopin, prospect, Siba– Oloyo roads, the on-going dredging exercise at Alaaka, Abese and Omi-Adio, provision of borehole at LCDA Secretariat. He further stated that his administration embarked on cultivation of 10 acres of rice at Akufo farm settlement, acquisition of farmland to improve agriculture, repair of LG tractor.
The council chairman then appealed to all caretaker members, traditional rulers, PDP stalwarts, party members, religious and Community leaders, market men and women, youths, artisans to continue to support and cooperate with his administration in order to take Omi-Apata LCDA to an enviable height.
