The Omituntun 3.0 Network has expressed profound gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde and the Commissioner for on Energy in Oyo State, Barr. Seun Ashamu, for their remarkable leadership and dedication to the Ibadan Power Project.

This initiative, the group said, is seen as a transformative effort aimed at enhancing the energy infrastructure in Oyo State, ultimately benefiting the local economy and improving the quality of life for residents.

In a recent statement, the Omituntun 3.0 Network highlighted the significant strides made under Makinde’s administration, noting that the power project is a testament to the governor’s commitment to sustainable development and energy reform in the state.

The group maintained that the project aimed to provide a reliable and efficient power supply, addressing long-standing electricity challenges faced by businesses and households alike.

“Oyo State will never forget the positive impacts of your leadership and vision for the Ibadan Power Project,” the group stated.

They emphasised that the initiative not only aims to improve energy availability but also fosters job creation and economic growth through enhanced industrial productivity.

Seun Ashamu’s role in overseeing the project has also been commended, with the network acknowledging his tireless efforts in coordinating various stakeholders and ensuring the successful implementation of the project.

“The collaboration between the government and local communities has been pivotal in driving this initiative forward, demonstrating a model of participatory governance.”

The Omituntun 3.0 Network called on all stakeholders to continue supporting the ongoing efforts in the power sector, urging them to remain engaged in discussions about energy accessibility and sustainability.

They believed that with sustained collaboration, Oyo State can achieve its energy goals and set a benchmark for other states in Nigeria.
