    Oyo Government,Police Vow to Arrest Killers of A pregnant Woman,18yr-old Barakat

    The Oyo state Government and Oyo State Police Command and other security agencies have vowed to work harmoniously to arrest  killers of  7 months old pregnant woman, Azeezat Shomuyiwa and Barakat Bello in Akinyele Local Government Area.

    The Special Adviser to Governor Makinde on Security Matters, Fatai Owoseni stated this when he paid a condolence visit to the families of Barakat Bello in Akinyele town and Azezat Shomuyiwa in Ijefun near L Adisa Quarry off Moniya-Oyo road.


    GOALPOACHER NEWS correspondent who accompanied the commissioner of police Enwonu  Nwachukwu and Makinde’s aide, Fatai Owoseni to the scenes of the incident unanimously condemned the dastardly act.

     

    Barely three days after young Barakat Bello was reportedly killed at Kara Area in Akinyele local government, another terrible incident occurred in Ijefun near L. Adisa Quarry off Moniya-Oyo road where 7 months old pregnant woman Azeezat Shomuyiwa was killed by unidentified persons.

     

    The chairman landlord association in the area  said the late pregnant woman, Azeezat Shomuyiwa was killed with a big stone inside her room. The Chairman explained that Azeezat just returned from Kano in February while the husband, Mr Dikrulai just secured an employment in Kano after completing his NYSC programme.

    The commissioner of police,Nwachukwu and SA to Governor Seyi Makinde on Security Matters, Fatai Owoseni, assured families of the deceased to arrest the perpetrators of the dastardly acts and ensure they face the full wrath of the law.

    Both the CP Nwachukwu, Fatai Owoseni as well as Executive Assistant to Governor on Security Retired CP Sunday Odukoya also visited Akinyele town where Barakat Bello was reportedly killed by unknown Persons  Monday

    They  urged residents of the two communities to be security conscious and report any suspicious or suspected movement to the police for safety of lives and Property.
