The chairman Oyo State Housing Corporation, Barrister Bayo Lawal has urged Nigerian Muslims to use the occasion of this year’s Eid-El- Kabir to pray to almighty Allah for peace and continued coexistence of the country.
He noted that the much needed development of the state can only be achieved in an atmosphere of peace.
In a statement signed by him and made available to journalists, Barrister Lawal said, “I want to enjoin our Muslim brothers and sisters to always pray for our dear state.
“The much needed development can only be achieved and enjoyed when there is peace in the land,” he said.
The Baamofin of Kishi land also called on the Muslim faithful to continue to offer prayers for Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde steering the ship of the state on the path of progress and prosperity with his four cardinal points.
He congratulated the entire Muslim Umaah and wished them a happy celebration.
