The Seyi Makinde Movement for Good Governance (SMMFGG), a socio- political pressure group in Oyo State fronting the good works of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration, has congratulated him and the Peoples Democratic Party Southwest National Vice- chairman, Taofeekq Arapaja on their appointments into the PDP 2021 Convention Planning and Zoning committees.
Recall the National Executive Committee of the PDP had on Thursday announced the appointment of Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde as the Secretary of the planning committee while erstwhile Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Taofeek Arapaja was appointed as a member of the Zoning Committee.
The Group in statement signed by Comrade Adebiyi Muideen, described their appointments as master piece,expressing hope that the committee will do the needful in repositioning PDP to greater heights and restoring confidence of most stake holders in the party. The statement reads:
“Congratulations to our own Governor Oluwaseyi Abiodun and Ambassador Taofeeq Oladejo Arapaja on their appointments as the Secretary to the National Convention Planning Committee and Member of National Zoning Committee respectively.
” We all at Seyi Makinde Movement for Good Governance (SMMFGG) for the actualization of H.E ambition won’t relent in our pursuit to continue to support our dearest Governor with the view to achieving greatness for us all in PDP and Oyo Sate.
