    Police parade two suspected kidnappers, 45 others for criminal offences in Oyo

    Police have paraded two suspected kidnappers and forty-five others for various criminal offences in Oyo.

    Nigerian Tribune reports that the Commissioner of Police, Ayodele Sonubi paraded the suspected before the newsmen at the Command Headquarters, Eleyele, Ibadan on Friday.

    He disclosed that they were picked up at different locations in the 33 local government areas of the state.

    The suspected kidnappers, according to the Commissioner of Police were caught with two million, seven hundred naira,(N2.7m) of the fifty million naira demanded as ransom.

    It was stated that the suspects who are identified as Nomadic allegedly invaded a Herder Camp at SEPETERI area of Oyo State.

    They allegedly disposed of their victims of mobile phones, huge sums of money and some other valuable items at gunpoint before they later abducted and whisked them away to unknown locations.

    The Commissioner of Police added that they contacted their respective family members to demand for ransom in the sum of Fifty Million Naira.

    Other victims paraded include suspected rapists, armed robbers, and car snatchers.

    The following items were recovered as exhibits; one yellow HOWO Topper, one MACK trailer, one AK-47 Riffle with Breech no “26212”, one locally made Pistol and two cut to size locally made gun.

    Other items recovered were, two Million, Seven Hundred and Sixty-Nine Thousand Naira, One thousand, one hundred and thirty Cartons of adhesives (170) One hundred and Seventy Bags of Wheat (Animal Feed), one MAZDA PREMACY with registration number KKY 593, one TOYOTA HIACE Bus, bundles of ANKARA fabrics, one SAMSUNG Plasma Television, two motorcycles, two refrigerators, one water dispenser, one sharp home theatre, one ‘55’ HISENCE Smart television one mud pot and suspected cremated human hand.
