”Governor Seyi Makinde has once again demonstrated courage, resilience and unwavering commitment to the welfare and security of the people of Oyo State. I congratulate him on the successful release of the abducted pupils and teachers, and I commend everyone who worked tirelessly to make this possible,” Balogun said.
She also appreciated security agencies and all stakeholders from the different levers of governance whose coordinated efforts contributed to the successful release of the victims, describing the achievement as a product of collaboration and determination.
She noted that the safe return of the abductees should strengthen public confidence in the government’s resolve to protect lives and ensure that children can learn in a safe and secure environment.

She further called for sustained investment in intelligence gathering and community-based security initiatives to forestall future attacks on schools and communities.
