The Chairman of Ogooluwa Local Government, Hon. Ojo Oluwaseun Adesoye, in the spirit of this year’s eid-el-kabir celebration, donated no fewer than 70 rams and cash gifts to Muslim leaders in the council.
Hon Ojo, who made the distribution in the local government Council, Ajaawa on Sunday, stated that the giving was to reciprocate the support given to him by the Muslim community.
He also stated that
the period of the Eid celebration was a clarion call for Muslims to imbibe the lessons of the season of selfless service to God, humanity and sincere commitment to righteous conducts in our private and public life.
The council boss however, promised to continue to make life more meaningful to all residents of Ogooluwa irrespective of party affiliations.
Ojo reiterated his commitment to the socio-economic transformation and the infrastructure revolution in his council.
