Victor Olojede Empowers Female Traders in Akinyele, Seeks Support For Makinde’s Administration
The Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State on Students Affairs, Hon Victor Olojede has empowered 10 petty traders in his ward 8, constituency 2 of Akinyele local government. He said this was done to commemorate the second anniversary of the administration of His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde.
Hon Olojede noted that the gesture was aimed at boosting their economic power saying that the beneficiaries were empowered with the sum of N10 000 each, to support their businesses and cushion the effect of the current economic meltdown which has affected small scale businesses.
He encouraged them to continually support Governor Seyi Makinde and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State. The astute politician expressed gratitude to the governor who found him worthy to be appointed as his aide on Students Affairs despite not having any affinity with the governor.
Olojede further advised the women to stay faithful to the party in Akinyele local government as this will not only be the only empowerment they will benefit from.
