The caretaker chairman, Akinyele local government, Hon. Taoreed Adedigba Jimoh today promised to renovate the SDP building accommodating both the National Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) and the State Universal Basic Education Board SUBEB at Elebu area, Akinyele local government.
The chairman during his on the spot inspection to the building alongside his caretaker members, the HLGA and director for works observed that the roofing sheets of the building were in poor shape and becomes inhabitable during rainfall, and the occupants of the building do vacate the building.
While speaking with GOALPOACHER NEWS, Hon Taoored Adedigba promised to renovate the roof of the building, he said that Oyo state Governor, Seyi Makinde has repeatedly emphasized Education and Security as most paramount in His administration, adding that he at the local government level needed to complement the state government’s efforts, hence the need to renovate the building for the good use of the state Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) and the National Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC).
