As the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Mahood Lekan Balogun clocks 81 years today, the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has reiterated that the monarch is a rallying point whose reign has continued to be a blessing to Ibadan people all over the world.
Ambassador Arapaja stated this in a congratulatory message he personally signed and made available to newsmen through his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim.
Ambassador Arapaja added that since Oba Balogun mounted the throne of his forefathers over a year ago, Kaabiyesi has adopted a cosmopolitan lifestyle which made the city a lovely place to the indigenes and millions of people residents from all walks of life.
Ambassador Arapaja also acknowledged the support and fatherly advice the monarch has been given to the government of Oyo state under the visionary leader, Engr Seyi Makinde.
He said: “I congratulate my father, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Mahood Lekan Balogun on the auspicious occasion of his 81 birthday today.
“Kaabiyesi, may the Almighty God continue to bless you with good health and peace of mind.
“It is my prayer that Ibadan land and indeed, Oyo State shall continue to witness unprecedented peace, development and prosperity” .
