A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon Olufemi Ajibade has congratulated all the 33 local government Chairmen, Vice-Chairmen and Councillors who were sworn-in by Governor Seyi Makinde on Friday.
In his congratulatory message, extolled the leadership and vision of Governor Seyi Makinde, whose administration continues to drive progress and development across the state.
Hon Ajibade who is the CEO of Femi Adewumi Ajibade Foundation (FAAJ), acknowledged the governor’s pivotal role in fostering a conducive environment for free, fair, and credible elections, which culminated in the successful emergence of the new local government leaders.
While congratulating Hon Kamorudeen Mudashiru of Lagelu Local Government and his colleagues from other councils, he charged them to fulfill all the electoral promises.
“The successful election and inauguration of these 33 chairmen, Vice-Chairmen and Councillors is a testament to the robust democratic principles upheld by the PDP and the unwavering support and direction provided by His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde.
“I extend my sincere congratulations to all the newly elected chairmen. Your victory is not just a win for the PDP but for the entire people of Oyo State who look forward to your leadership in driving local development and progress.”
