Oyo To Recommence Free Medical Mission in 27 LGAs
Oyo State government has announced the recommencement of the suspended Free Medical Mission which Oyo State government started before the Covid-19 pandemic early this year.
This was contained in a statement signed by Dr Wale Falana on behalf of the State Commissioner for Health and made available to newsmen on Friday.
The exercise which would take place in 27 local government areas has Iwajowa Local Government scheduled for 5th October, 2020, Kajola, 6th October 2020, Itesiwaju 7th October 2020, Iseyin 8th October 2020 and Oriire local government, 9th October 2020.
Others are Ogbomoso North on the 10th of October, 2020, Ogbomoso South, 12th October 2020, Surulere, 13th October 2020, OgoOluwa, 14th October 2020, Atiba local government, 15th October 2020 and Oyo West local government on the 16th of October, 2020.
It would be the turn of Oyo East on the 17th October, 2020, Afijiio 19th October, 2020, Akinyele 20th October 2020, Lagelu, 21st October, 2020, Egbeda 22nd October 2020, Ona Ara 23rd October, 2020 and Oluyole local government on the 26th October, 2020.
Ibarapa East would be the next port of call on the 27th October, 2020, Ibarapa Central 28th October 2020, Ibarapa North 29th October 2020 and Ido Local Government on the 30th October, 2020.
The Free Medical Mission will berth at Ibadan North West on the 31st October 2020, Ibadan South-West on the 2nd, November, 2020, Ibadan South-East 3rd November 2020, Ibadan North-East on the 4th November 2020 and Ibadan North on the 5th of November, 2020.
The general public were urged to make good use of the free health mission exercise by trooping out whenever it is the turn of their local government areas.
