UPDATED:Oyo Government to Immortalise Ayoola As Makinde takes Full Responsibility of His Children’s Education
Oyo State Governor, Engr Oluseyi Makinde has declared that the Oyo State Government would immortalize late Rt.Hon Kehinde Ayoola who died last week Thursday in Ibadan.
Governor Makinde stated this during the valedictory Executive Council Session held in honour of the former Speaker and Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, which held at the main lodge of the Government House, Agodi, Ibadan.
Governor Makinde promised that he would take full responsibility of the educational needs of the two children left behind. He added that he would assist the children if they intend to seek knowledge anywhere around the world.
GOALPOACHER NEWS reports that Governor Makinde also stressed that the state government remained united with the family in bearing the lost, adding that the late commissioner was a loyal and dedicated friend who had moved with him from one political platform to another since he conceived the ambition of being Oyo state Governor some years back.
The secretary to the state government (SSG), Mrs Olubanwo Adeosun, the Head of Service, Alhaja Amidat Agboola and some other members of the executive council had in an emotionally laden speeches, eulogized the late commissioner for his brilliance, commitment to duty and purposeful doggedness.
Speaking on behalf of the family, the deceased twin sister appreciated the various tributes from members of the executive council, and noted that such encouragement would strengthen their emotional capacity.
