Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has disclosed plans to establish higher institution of learning in Iseyin Local Government area of Oyo State.
The Governor stated this on Friday at the 8-day fidau prayer for the late mother of the state’s chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Omokunmi Mustapha, held in Iseyin town.
Makinde said formal announcement on the proposed higher institution would be made in February.
GOALPOACHER NEWS quoted Makinde as saying: “When I was campaigning for the Governorship position, I made a promise here in Iseyin. I said we will establish a higher institution here. In six weeks from now, we will make the announcement.”
