A former Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Dr. Senator Monsurat Sunmonu has shared an uplifting New Year message, inspiring hope and unity for Nigerians for 2025.
Senator Sunmonu thanked Nigerians and Oyo State residents for their support and dedication despite the challenges the country encountered in 2024.
In her message, the first female Senator in Oyo State reflected on the previous year’s accomplishments and the challenges that lie ahead, adding that: “As we step into this New Year, I want to thank each of you for your dedication and support.”
“Together, we have made significant strides, and I am excited about what we can achieve in the coming year,” she said.
She emphasised the importance of working together to address local, state and national issues, particularly in economy, education, health, and infrastructure.
