The Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, recently convened a crucial Peace and Security Meeting at the Council Secretariat as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen safety, unity, and stability across the local government area.

The meeting brought together key stakeholders and community leaders, reflecting a collaborative approach to addressing security challenges and promoting peaceful coexistence.

In his address, Hon. Alawode emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in maintaining law and order, urging all stakeholders to remain vigilant and proactive.

He reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to safeguarding lives and property while fostering an environment conducive to growth and development.
Discussions at the meeting centered on strategies to improve intelligence sharing, community engagement, and rapid response to security concerns.

Participants also stressed the need for sustained collaboration between government, traditional institutions, and security operatives.

The meeting concluded with a renewed pledge by all stakeholders to work together in ensuring a peaceful and secure Ibadan South East Local Government.
